The Experience

1 - Book a Session

First, get in touch or give us a call to book your time slot and ask any questions. We will get back with a questionnaire to learn about your pet, how to prepare for your pet's photos and a product guide. We also offer complimentary zoom pre-consults to learn more about how we can best serve you.

2 - Your Studio Portrait Session

Join us for a dynamic studio photoshoot. We play games, offer treats and have a blast. We capture a great range of beautiful photos highlighting your furry friend's personality. After a short break, we present all the best images on the big screen!

3 - Same-Day Reveal & Design Consultation

The best part! After a quick break, we watch a cinematic slideshow of all the best heartwarming images and guide you in selecting the ones you truly love. Next, we design your custom artwork to fit perfectly into your heart and home. At this time, we collect full payment or build a custom payment plan.

4 - Delivery to Your Home

After hand retouching your images to perfection, they are sent to our trusted print lab partners around the world for production. Next, your custom art is conveniently delivered right to your home. We believe nothing beats tangible, high-quality art pieces you will love and enjoy for a lifetime. Production time is usually 4-8 weeks.

"One of the best dog photo shoots ever! Fido Foto dealt with my shy dog really well. I was very impressed. There's a reason they are listed as the top pet photographer in Toronto."

"Henry is a giant goofball. He loved the entire photo shoot in Toronto. He loved all the attention and that all eyes were on him. Henry is part of our family and when we realized that we didn't have any photos of him hanging on the wall we decided that we should add him to the collection. It was such a fun, enjoyable hour. Fido Foto Toronto was amazing with our dog and the photos are great."

"Bambi is very energetic and loving and lots of fun. She had a great time. I think it's important to have photos of Bambi because in the digital age we often resort to just having an album on our phones and I like the idea of having a physical commemoration of her. The Toronto dog studio was super dog friendly. She had a blast at the Fido Foto Toronto photoshoot."

My dog is shy or reactive. Can I still book a photo shoot?

We have loads of experience will all kinds of dogs. With shy or reactive dogs, we give them extra time to warm up and get settled into the new space before we start the photos. We have several techniques to help an anxious dog relax, including staying further back and shooting without a flash.

In very rare cases a dog may not be comfortable enough in the studio, in which case the shoot fee will be refunded.

How should I prepare for the photo shoot?

Before the photo shoot, it's helpful to put thought into where in your home you might want to display your photos.

You can also think about getting your dog groomed, or a nice brush out before the photo shoot.

As we use treats for the photos, a lighter meal on the day of the session will keep your dog nibbly.
